Important Notes for Idaho Residents
- Character Limits: Standard personalized plates allow up to 7 characters, including spaces. Certain specialty plates may have different character limits.
- Prohibited Content: Plates must not contain offensive or inappropriate language, including terms that are vulgar, obscene, or in poor taste, as outlined in IDAPA 39.02.60 202.08.
- No Punctuation: Punctuation marks or special characters are not permitted. Spaces are allowed and count as characters.
